Coventry City Centre
£10.43 per hour
3 Month Contract - Immediate Start

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Administrative Assistant to closely support key Senior Directors within one of the international divisions of Coventry University.

You will be undertaking a range of administrative and project - related tasks to support and maintain effective international operations and delivery of objectives in support of the Group International Strategy.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
*Identify and deliver support where required
*Organise meetings, agendas and supporting documentation
*Prepare the directors for meetings and briefing them where necessary
*Supporting the planning, preparation and management of workshops, conferences and events including all logistical arrangements
*Undertaking overseas travel arrangements
*Arranging visits and meetings for overseas partners
*Responsible for raising Purchase Orders and the processing of invoices
*Provide support for the recruitment of senior staff within the International Business Units
*Ensure processes and systems are in place, enhanced and maintained
*Assist in dealing with complaints in accordance to University procedures
*Deal with queries from internal and external customers


Person Specification:
*Educated to "A" Level standard or equivalent or with relevant experience
*Demonstrable experience of providing high level administrative and office management support for one or more senior managers
*Experience in booking overseas travel
*Experience arranging events and conferences
*Experience liaising with a range of internal/external customer/organisations
*Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative
*Willing to take the lead/ownership of specific tasks/activities
*Excellent written and oral communication skills
*Ability to organise own workload and prioritise effectively to meet deadlines
*Good ICT skills e.g. use of Microsoft Office, Office 365, Outlook and electronic diary management and virtual meeting tools
