Events Administrator
England, West Midlands, Coventry - £18,000 - £20,000 per annum

The National Centre for Entrepreneurship in Education (NCEE) supports higher education to build its entrepreneurial future. We believe innovative and inspiring activities led by enterprising staff create graduates equipped for an ever changing world. We support organisations to develop their entrepreneurial capacity - providing a range of services to universities, and their senior leadership and practitioners - to ensure UK higher education remains at the forefront of enterprise and entrepreneurship.

To support the Events and Marketing Officer to ensure the effective delivery and administration of our events and programmes.

Main Responsibilities:
1)To provide professional administrative support for our events.
*Process and administer event and programme bookings.
*Assist in the organisation and support of our events including travel arrangements, room bookings, catering, accommodation, organising itineraries, programmes and invitations as required.
*Liaison with delegates, speakers and colleagues via email and telephone.
*Collate event packs and materials.
*Post event support including processing evaluation forms and actioning any follow up required with participants.
*Update and maintain the contacts database as required.

2)Working with the Events and Marketing Officer to produce marketing materials and update website, newsletter and social media as required.
*Assist in the development of NCEE's messages and presentation to external bodies, supporting our relationship management plan.
*Monitor and evaluate impact of communications.
*Assist in the development of presentation materials.

3)Supporting NCEE's aims and objectives by contributing to wider team activity, including:
*Undertake other duties as may reasonably be required.
*Other administrative support relating to the running of NCEE including supporting the Chief Executive in the organisation and during meetings.
*General office support such as taking telephone messages, arranging meetings, booking rooms, booking catering, taking team meeting minutes, filing, etc.
*Undertake follow-up arising from team meetings.

Person Specification
*Positive, energetic and self-motivated and have a focus on providing excellent customer service.
*Good oral and written communication skills, with a high level of accuracy in written content.
*Good interpersonal skills, with an ability to relate to people in a professional and friendly manner.
*Highly organised with an ability to prioritise with competing demands and meet tight deadlines.
*Able to work within a small team.
*Conscientious, able to meet day to day tasks with first class delivery.
*Excellent IT skills.
*Experience of maintaining and updating websites.
*Confidence to negotiate with external suppliers.
*A 'can do' attitude, with a positive approach and will seek solutions.
