An exciting opportunity for an experienced Events and Marketing Manager to join Coventry University to co-ordinate and implement a high profile campaign.
Working closely with Key senior stakeholders, this role will oversee and manage the delivery of all relevant on and offline content for the campaign ensuring it is on brand, while developing good working relationships and collaborations that proactively support sharing of good practice across the wider marketing team.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
*Working with key stakeholders to d support the development and production of a set activity plans to ensure that activities are delivered on time, on budget and can demonstrate impact / return on investment.
*Further develop and update a campaign calendar identifying key dates for activity, production of marketing and recruitment materials and audience engagement.
*To oversee the updating and improvement of relevant webpages and ensure they are developed in line with audience need, accurate, engaging and use a variety of rich content.
*To undertake regular checks and 'mini audits' to ensure that all campaign content communications across all channels are on brand, CMA compliant and comply with data protection.
*Acts as a 'compliance champion' to ensure all marketing materials produced operate within brand, data protection and CMA guidelines, and will take proactive steps to rectify if this is found not to be the case.
*To oversee and manage a campaign budget, managing and reporting on spend, to ensure that value for money and good return on investment is achieved.
*Relevant degree in Business Studies or in a discipline with a strong marketing focus or relevant professional qualification such as a Diploma or Chartered Institute of Marketing
*Substantial experience of working in a marketing position in industry or public sector.
*Experience of developing digitally led marketing plans or strategies for client groups.
*Strong campaign management skills - able to demonstrate delivery of effective and targeted campaigns.
*Excellent web and digital skills with good understanding of web and digital analytics and ability to monitor and report on campaign effectiveness
*Experience of media-buying and ability to negotiate on price and place media effectively.
*Online advertising and retargeting experience.
*Excellent copywriting and presentation skills
*Flexible approach to work - will involve some evening/weekend working and travel in the UK & overseas.
