Our client based in Warwick is seeking an enthusiastic and target driven individual to join their team, excellent opportunity to join a very well established and brand leader.
Internal Sales Executive
*To act as an Internal Sales Executive for nominated Account Managers and to assist in the maintenance and development of existing and new customers.
*Enable sales orders and their transactions to be fully recorded, and to ensure that they are processed in a controlled manner, allowing products to be supplied to the customer, correctly and at the due date. To ensure that these orders are tracked and invoiced in a timely way.
*Keep up to date with new products and to work efficiently and accurately in a team based environment.
*Provide high touch customer service by building and maintaining client relationships, following departmental processes, and striving to identify continuous improvement opportunities.
*To manage and control reasonable and appropriate levels of equipment stock availability, from both client and Customer perspective. To ensure that Customer stores are supplied with the correct equipment necessary for normal operational purposes and that budget spend is reported upon and managed effectively.
*Establishing and maintaining close operational relationships with Finance and Buying team in the Customer to ensure that there is a smooth flow to equipment supply, budgets are managed effectively and that account payments are up to date to prevent any potential interruption to equipment supplies, Enable sales orders and their transactions to be fully recorded.
*To maintain and develop Relationships in the Customers through appropriate propositions and ethical methods.
Client Liaison Responsibilities
*Be lead generator for new opportunities with new customers including:-
oHelping increase business sales
oCreating, researching and managing own customer list
oDrive sales through appointment setting and cold calling
oSuccessful generation of warm leads and follow up calls
*To identify and build close business relationships with key decision making personnel within each nominated account.
*To maintain regular verbal contact with each nominated account decision maker.
*To present Group management with key market information which is relevant and may enable future business opportunities to be developed.
*To establish and maintain customer profiles for each nominated customer.
*The input and maintenance of Sales Orders from written instructions.
*The creation and dispatch of Sales Order Acknowledgments to the customer, with a copy to the Account Manager.
*Ensure full liaison with Purchasing validating Purchase Order input, allocation of P/O to specific S/O as appropriate, daily progressing, and consignment tracking and resolving price, delivery and specification queries.
*Updating the status of Sales Orders on computer, whether On Hold, Allocated, Back Ordered, or Completed.
*Recording the details of dispatched orders on and issuing instructions for invoicing.
*Maintaining customer and other databases related to Customer and Sales Orders, as appropriate.
*Assist with quotations against sales enquiries.
*Help to reduce / utilize slow-moving stock and prevent its re-occurrence.
*Maintain database records.
*Monitor the updating of individual customer operational files.
*Support annual stock-take.
*Compliance to company policies and group management systems.
Skills and Qualifications
*Previous experience of business-to-business customer service would be essential
*Good customer service skills; responsive to internal and external customers' needs
*Confident ability to communicate at all levels via telephone, face to face and by email
*Ability to be proactive in identifying customer needs and opportunities
*Ability to manage internal suppliers (Purchasing, Distribution, Installation etc.) to satisfy customer needs
*At least intermediate level of competence with Excel and other Microsoft packages
*Ability to work independently and manage your own workload and priorities
*Ability to work quickly whilst maintaining high levels of accuracy
*Excellent attention to detail
*Enthusiastic and a good team player
*Ability to drive is an advantage, for occasional travel to customer locations.
