TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Design, develop and produce marketing collateral to promote organisation to prospective
and current students and clients (including serviced apartments and short-term lets). This
includes the production of online and hard copy marketing material, posters and flyers,
liaising as appropriate with Marketing and External Affairs and other external companies as
appropriate. Ensuring approval and scheduled to allow accurate and timely delivery.
2. Evaluate and monitor the annual marketing, and printing budgets. To monitor the budget

3. Monitor, edit and manage the content of the accommodation webpages
and company webpages throughout the year, ensuring they are accurate and in
accordance with the University Group's marketing brand and agenda and in line with
business timelines. To manage and maintain the Student and Staff internal portal sites,
ensuring they have the relevant materials and documents uploaded to ensure they are
compliant with appropriate legislation (e.g. gas safety certificates, License to Occupy, etc.).
4. To produce an annual content plan for the Browzer site, writing articles and
managing content, ensuring content produced by contributors (staff and students) is
appropriate, accurate and timely. Utilising social media platforms to promote the Browzer
platform, increase readership and promote the service.
5. Monitor the effectiveness of social media activities/campaigns providing analysis, evaluation
reports and recommendations to inform future developments6. Lead, develop and manage social media communication channels with current and potential
students and clients. Create and distribute content across social media in line with
corporate guidelines and annual programme.
7. To work in collaboration with the Residence Life Manager to deliver the Residents' Life
programme, using appropriate marketing media to promote the programme's events.
8. Lead the development and implementation of communication plan for internal
communications to residents/tenants. This includes communications planning, newsletters,
digital signage, news gathering and writing content for internal communication channels
(printed and digital).
9. To arrange photography to add to the existing portfolio of accommodation
imagery, ensuring all images are up-to-date and appropriate for marketing purposes.
10. Keep an inventory of all marketing materials (including signage, brochures and fliers,
promotional materials etc.) tracking when there is low stock, and replenishing and updating
items as required.
11. To assist with delegated tasks during business critical periods/timelines, i.e. Clearing

Excellent IT skills including advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (e.g.
Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access), corporate systems and Social Media platforms.
Excellent communication and organisation skills with the ability to work to deadlines.
Proven ability to work efficiently and flexibly to deliver what is required.
Ability to plan, prioritise and manage workload, projects, deadlines and balance continuing demand. Monitor outcomes and where necessary identify any potential issues and make recommendations for solution.
