Membership Admin
England, Warwickshire, Kenilworth - £9 per hour

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client a 4 four month temporary assignment for a Full time Membership Administrator - Monday to Friday.

Own transport essential, due to location.

Purpose: To deal with membership enquiries, servicing our members and selling all aspects of the Charitable based organisation.

Reporting to: Membership Director

Key Responsibilities:


"Actively selling the Society to callers through listening to customer requirements and presenting appropriate information on the charity, its services and the benefits of membership. This is both over the phone and possibly face to face at equestrian shows and events.

"Deal with telephone enquiries, ranging from insurance information to general membership queries

"Maintaining and developing relationships with members in person and via telephone calls and emails

"Gathering market and customer information and maintaining membership records

"Challenging any objections with a view to getting the customer to join or renew

"Advising on current appeals and campaigns

"Actively promoting donations and gift aid

"Actively promoting direct debit as first choice for payments

"Review daily reporting of membership activity and your own performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets

"Attending team meeting and sharing best practice with colleagues

"Proactively approach members whose subscriptions are overdue through telephone enquiries

"Process payments for all new and renewal subscription payments

"Fulfilment of letters, email, call backs and literature requests and replying to routine queries.

"Assist members interaction with the website.


"Liaising with other departments as necessary

"Scanning and filing correspondence, keeping communication notes on CRM system up to date.

"Undertake any other duties as required by the Membership Director, Membership

"Occasional attendance at outside events including trade exhibitions and event possibly involving some evening and weekend work.

Person Specification

"Excellent verbal communication skills and telephone manner
"Experience of telephone sales
"IT literate, able to use in-house CRM Microsoft database and other Microsoft office packages.
"Team player
"Proactive and Enthusiastic
"Driving licence and own transport
