An experienced, proactive and driven Project Administrator is required to join a leading department within the Coventry University Group. While based in Coventry city centre, this role will contribute to the effective operation of the Business Performance department by providing project and administrative support for projects across all campuses.
You will have a flexible approach to work and willingness to engage in a number of different duties which are within the scope of the role.

Duties will include the following:
*Assist and support on business improvement initiatives and projects across campuses and all business areas, liaising with key stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of products and projects
*Proactively takes ownership on small scale projects as required to ensure successful delivery
*Coordinates and monitors business improvement initiatives. Ensures all key stakeholders are provided with regular updates
*Responsible for highlighting risks or issues that may impact on project progress and suggesting solutions to issues raised
*Able to provide progress updates on multiple projects as requested
*Maintain and update important documents such as complaints database, project plans and Quality Management System (QMS) documents
*Proactively recommends and supports improvements to departmental working practices and processes
*Assist with the maintenance and operation of manual and computerised databases including data inputting and undertakes the development of new systems, including the application of computer software to enhance administrative processes, ensuring accuracy and integrity of data
*Document key processes, procedures and working instructions using Visio
*To support the production of research and reports
*Support business development activities by researching databases and gathering information from internal students and staff surveys
*Manage competing priorities and workload is essential
*Provide administrative support to the BPICC department including, arranging meetings with internal and external stakeholders, note taking, ensuring actions are recorded and distributed and managing departmental email and calendars
*Quality assurance and proof reading as required
*Respond to enquiries from all relevant internal and external sources via telephone, email and face to face contact
*Contribute to and participate in any staff development and training activities within the Coventry University group
*Willingness to work some evenings and weekends, and travel to other sites across the UK if required
*AND such other duties as are within the scope and the spirit of the job purpose, the title of the post and it's grading.

Person Specification:
*Educated to A level or equivalent, Prince2 or any project management or quality management qualification would be advantageous
*Relevant administrative and project support experience
*Documentation management experience
*Liaising/negotiating with a range of internal/ external stakeholders
*Use of computerised systems, Knowledge and application of Microsoft Project, Office 365 Planner and Visio
*Experience working with or knowledge of quality standards such as ISO9001
*Ability to manage complex activities simultaneously
*Ability to work independently, lead small projects and to demonstrate initiative
*Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate with a broad range of people including representatives of external bodies, staff and students
*Good organisational and time management skills with outstanding attention to detail
*Outstanding attention to detail
*Ability to prioritise work in order to meet deadlines
*Ability to work flexibly to meet the needs of the business including additional working hours at evenings and weekends with advance notice if required.
